It has been truly beautiful here on the farm for the last couple of days and it always amazes me how much a little ☀️ sunshine☀️ can make you feel so much lighter.
No surprises there then?
I have become completely obsessed with searching for baby knits on Ravelry, since learning that my first grandchild will be a boy. I’m sure this level of preoccupation is beyond healthy and let’s face it there are only so many hours in the day right?
So what does a group of knitterly friends make when one of us is having a baby or grandbaby? (yes a few of us are closer to that now)
Lately, it seems like the majority of my knitting has been on projects that have to be kept under wraps. Which does tend to make talking about them a little difficult?
I couldn’t resist sharing a sneaky photo on Instagram the other week, but since then I’ve shown total restraint when it comes to flashing these lovely little baby knits.
I have just got back from the most glorious dog walk on the farm, I was so warm and cosy, that it’s quite difficult to think of it as December. Cuppa brewed and Gluten Free Hobnob at the ready, it’s time for a little blog update, with Spotify for musical accompaniment.
At this time of the year I should really be listening to Christmas songs, but it feels more like a Mamas & Papas sort of day, with the December sun shining through my office windows.
Despite it being barely above freezing here this morning, the sun is up in the sky, the birds are singing away and all is good in the world. Well that’s providing you don’t turn on the telly, computer or radio, refuse to open a newspaper and never venture outside. We can still dream though and there’s nothing like dreaming about shiny pretty things, or in my case mostly woolly or woolly related things.
I want to be more like an elephant!
No my nose doesn’t need to be any bigger thank you very much, nor do I see the benefit of mud baths. Well……
