So, you see, everybody in Berlin has a perfectly marvelous roommate. Some people have two people.
I’m still not completely convinced by these photos. In my head, I know exactly what I’m after, but it’s not coming out quite as I’ve planned it.
Blimey! It’s been a pretty bonkers few weeks round here and in all honesty there really hasn’t been any time to blog.
There can be no more excuses though, as I really couldn’t delay posting about Blacker Yarns Brushwork on the Olann and Blog any longer and to do that, I kind of needed to post here too.
As far as my blog goes, I think it might be best if I write September off. For some reason I just haven’t been able to get my $#&% together enough to sit down and type, even though I’ve had tonnes of things I want to talk about.
It’s the first day of a new month, so I’m hoping that’s enough of an incentive for me to pull my finger out (here’s hoping) and get back into my usual blogging rhythm.
Oh my god I spelt rhythm correctly without spell check. It’s the little things.
Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like they’ve taken three steps forward, but two steps back of late?
Honestly it sums up my daily life at the moment in a nutshell and I don’t even seem to be able to get my knitting to behave?
I’m not going to bore you all, by going over my Yarnfolk Festival of Wool experience last Saturday. I rambled on about it for fourty minutes on the video for the Olann and You Tube Channel.
Needless to say, I had a great time and made a couple of purchases. A very modest haul, even if I do say so myself.
I promise this will be the last post about the colour options for my Strokkur by Ysolda Teague.
Hopefully, you’re enjoying it as much as I am?
The last few days have been rather busy and my knitting time has been a bit sparse. What little I’ve had, was given over to serious swatch knitting for the Olann and Yarn Reviews. We’ve been sent some right lovelies to share with our readers in the next issue and so far, I’ve knitted eight up. I’m pretty sure there’s at least two more to arrive and then they’ll be done. Just have to write about them now.
Happily I can report that I’m thoroughly enjoying my knitting once again.
I keep meaning to post about the rainbow blanket I knitted recently, but then I get sidetracked by something else and it goes completely out of my head.
