My blog has sat dejected and unloved for some time now. So much so, that I’ve even been toying with putting a stop to my rambles and searching for something new. It’s always been the closest thing I have to keeping a journal about my creative life, mixed in with a little more of me than I originally intended to share.
However, like a lot of things in my life at the moment, it could do with a good shake to get the dust off and then leaving outside to air for a few hours.

I have just got back from the most glorious dog walk on the farm, I was so warm and cosy, that it’s quite difficult to think of it as December. Cuppa brewed and Gluten Free Hobnob at the ready, it’s time for a little blog update, with Spotify for musical accompaniment.
At this time of the year I should really be listening to Christmas songs, but it feels more like a Mamas & Papas sort of day, with the December sun shining through my office windows.

Blimey! It’s been a pretty bonkers few weeks round here and in all honesty there really hasn’t been any time to blog.

Sunshine & Sprinkles KAL Kicks Off
As far as my blog goes, I think it might be best if I write September off. For some reason I just haven’t been able to get my $#&% together enough to sit down and type, even though I’ve had tonnes of things I want to talk about.
It’s the first day of a new month, so I’m hoping that’s enough of an incentive for me to pull my finger out (here’s hoping) and get back into my usual blogging rhythm.

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like they’ve taken three steps forward, but two steps back of late?

Yarnfolk Swag and Knitting Gaffs
I’m not going to bore you all, by going over my Yarnfolk Festival of Wool experience last Saturday. I rambled on about it for fourty minutes on the video for the Olann and You Tube Channel.
Needless to say, I had a great time and made a couple of purchases. A very modest haul, even if I do say so myself.
